Happy 50th Birthday to . . . Medicare?!
Cake

President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Older Americans Act (OAA) into law in July of 1965. Over the past 50 years, the Act has provided a national network of aging services and funding that helps older adults to live and thrive in communities of their choice for as long as possible. These services include home-delivered and congregate meals, caregiver support, preventative health services, transportation, job training, elder abuse prevention, and so much more. This milestone anniversary is a time to celebrate the ways the OAA has impacted the lives of older adults &their families across the nation. Click the cake to see some interesting facts & stats.

Have You Signed Up?

Please take a few minutes to give your input about how best to use the new Measure Q funds that will be received in July. Also feel free to forward this survey to any and all seniors, veterans and/or people with disabilities you know.
