Calling All Tax Preparers
  
The Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) program is seeking Monterey County residents to volunteer for the 2015 tax season. Tax experience is required, however additional training will be provided. Work sites and schedules vary throughout Monterey County between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Spirals Monthly Markdown Sale:

Spirals is once again moving items off the floor to make space for new merchandise. From Friday -  Sunday, February 6 - 8, we will be offering these clearance items at very low prices. Included are men and women's clothing, accessories, shoes, jewelry, artwork, furniture and household items.

Markdown sales are scheduled for the first Friday - Sunday of each month until further notice. Items that do not sell during the sale are donated to low income and homeless individuals in our service area.

We are happy to announce the election of Tina Del Piero and Christine Winge to the 2015 Alliance on Aging Board of Directors. Both Tina and Christine are lifetime residents of Monterey County and bring many talents and a wealth of experience and commitment to senior issues. 

Tina is a local development professional with Visiting Nurses Association and her affiliations include: membership in the Salinas Santa Lucia Rotary Club, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Monterey Civic Club, the Carmel Women's Association and California Women in Agriculture.

Christine is the Operations Manager at Treehouse Mortgage Group in Monterey and her memberships include: the American Women in Radio, the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the Salinas Valley Business Women's Network and the professional Women's Network of the Monterey Peninsula.
