Staying Active Wellness Lectures

On Tuesday, June 10 at the Firehouse Recreation Center in Salinas, Gloria De La Rosa, Nurse Educator for the Monterey County Department of Health will be hosting a free presentation on how you can keep active physically and maintain a healthy outlook. Refreshments will be provided and raffle prizes awarded at the end of the presentation.

Everybody's Doing It . . .

Aging!

Congratulations to Monterey County's Community Voice for Aging for organizing the third annual bus trip to the Board of Supervisors to celebrate Older American's Month. Forty five Monterey County seniors hopped on the MST bus to attend the BOS meeting. Six seniors gave compelling testimony about senior issues and the importance of Older Americans programs and senior services. Great advocacy effort by all! Keep up the good work.
