Tell Congress, "It's time to fund elder justice."

It's been four years since the Elder Justice Act finally became law, but Congress has yet to appropriate any funding for it. There are about five million elder abuse victims in America yet for every case that is reported, 24 go unreported. The Administration has requested $25 million for the Elder Justice Initiative - tell Congress to give it the funding it deserves.

This Mother's Day, honor your mother, grandmother or their memory by having a beautiful blooming plant delivered to a woman living in nursing or long-term care who might otherwise not be acknowledged on this special day. Alliance on Aging's Ombudsman Program protects the rights of 2,000 of the most vulnerable seniors who reside in local nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Ombudsmen make regular visits to these facilities to investigate complaints, including abuse and neglect to advocate for quality care. Many of these seniors are without family or friends to speak on their behalf.

Click here to donate so that we may deliver a flowering plant(s) in time for Mother's Day.
