Innovia Newsletter, March 2016

Spring is almost here! Most of Innovia live in the upper Midwest (Wisconsin and Indiana) and we really have had a pretty easy winter, so we shouldn't complain. Our family had a blessed Easter (I pray you did as well) and much like my intro in Thanksgiving, this is another time to pause and reflect. It is sad that our lives are so busy that we need some sort of holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter) to remind us to slow down, reflect on where we spend our time and energies, and, if you're anything like me, realize I don't always have my priorities right. I took the Monday after Easter off and part of that time was to do just that, reflect and re-prioritize. I encourage everyone to do that and, next year, actually plan for it (make it happen)!
As far as Innovia goes, we are really excited about bringing back our annual Innovia Customer Conference in Wisconsin Dells on May 11th and 12th - we have added to the number of ISV's doing breakout sessions and added another track. There are 24 sessions to choose from:

I would like to share information about an interesting issue that I ran into today with Dynamics NAV 2016. I just installed NAV 2016 Cumulative Update 4 on Innovia's servers. Our setup has the service tier on one server and the role tailored client on a different server. I suspect that the issue would not have occurred if the two were on the same server. Read More
