Congratulations Fall 2014 Professional Theatre Training Program Recipients
We are pleased to announce the latest recipients of training grants through Theatre Ontario's Professional Theatre Training Program (PTTP). Bridging the Gap at Theatre Ontario
Our Youth Advisory Committee hosted "Bridging the Gap" this past November in Toronto - a think tank event featuring performance, speakers, panels, and workshops, all around the question of "bridging the inter-generational gap."

Legendary Commitments to Community Theatre Across Ontario The Michael Spence Award recognizes outstanding contribution, generosity of spirit, involvement, and legendary commitment to community theatre in a region. Originally presented every five years on Theatre Ontario's quinquennial anniversaries, the award is now presented annually within the region that is hosting the Theatre Ontario Festival.
In 2015, the award will be presented to someone in the ACT-CO region of Ontario community theatre.
Meet some of the past recipients of Theatre Ontario's Michael Spence Award, including Maureen Lukie of ACT-CO - honoured in 2007.

Honouring Innovators in Arts and Culture
The deadline for nominations for the Sandra Tulloch Award for Innovation in Arts and Culture is December 19.
The Sandra Tulloch Award for Innovation in Arts and Culture is presented annually to an individual or a collective whose leadership, activism, and service has contributed to the development and strengthening of arts and culture in Ontario through innovative and practical initiatives. While Theatre Ontario administers this award, it recognizes achievements in all artistic and cultural disciplines.
