Health and Safety Awareness Training Requirements for Workers and Supervisors As we first reported in November, a new Ontario regulation requires health and safety awareness training for every worker and supervisor under Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). The regulation is now in force.

Contemporary Training for Independent Theatre Creators at SITI Company Why Not Theatre and Theatre Ontario partnered to create a unique and exciting Independent Theatre Creators International Training Scholarship, providing the opportunity for two emerging theatre artists to train in theatre creation with Anne Bogart and SITI Company.
Colin Bruce Anthes and Miriam Fernandes have now completed the training, and in this two-part series, each will share their experience at the program.

Profiling Projects Funded by the Professional Theatre Training Program This month meet Rob Kempson, training in Directing with Ashlie Corcoran at Thousand Islands Playhouse in Gananoque; and Joseph Recinos, training in Producing with Marilo Nunez at Alameda Theatre Company in Toronto.
We also check in with Kat Horzempa, training in General Management and Tour Coordination with Natalie Ackers at Roseneath Theatre.

Welcome to Zara Jestadt We're thrilled to welcome Zara Jestadt, who will be our Education Assistant at Theatre Ontario in July and August.
Zara is a student at the George Brown Theatre School. She will be providing support for our Summer Theatre Intensive, and other administrative duties as required.
This Summer Experience position is made possible through the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sport.
