Spaces are still available in our Summer Theatre Intensive
If you've been leaving it to the last minute - now is your chance to register for the 2013 Summer Theatre Intensive. We still have a few spaces available in two courses:
- Staging The Story: The Why and How of Directing, with Maja Ardal (4 spaces available)
- You Got The Part!: Audition and Rehearsal Techniques for the Actor, with Thom Currie (5 spaces available)
Experience a week away from all distractions and immerse yourself in a unique theatrical learning experience in Waterloo, running August 11 to August 17.

Summer theatre across Ontario The 2013 season has already begun for many summer theatres. This year there are 21 members of ASTRO, the Association of Summer Theatres 'Round Ontario.

Welcome to Rebecca Ballarin We're pleased to welcome Rebecca Ballarin, who will be our Education Assistant this summer at Theatre Ontario.
Rebecca will be assisting Cornelia Persich in preparation of materials for our Summer Theatre Intensive, and providing support for our membership, marketing, and fundraising departments. This is a Summer Experience Program funded by the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport.

Community theatre conversations continuing in the fall Two more Community Theatre Discussion Forums have been scheduled:
- Oshawa - September 12 at 7:00pm
- Merrickville - November 9 at 9:30am

We're looking for a volunteer to work with our Membership Coordinator on a special project. A passion for research and theatre would be great assets. The time commitment is 3-6 hours per week.
