Video shows how a "high mix/low volume producer" implemented UR robots to their benefit.  UR robots are shown on rolling carts to deploy and handle different applications and needs. 

 "The UR was the only robot we saw that could do the job..."  Apply to tasks that are monotonous or labor intensive.  One application is potting electric components with epoxy.  Enables SFEG to be more competitive. 

Workers were at first apprehensive, but now they are very comfortable and suggesting different applications.  Workers actually give them names; Themla and Louise.  "If you can work a smart phone, you can pretty much work these robots."

Parker P-Series EtherCAT Servo Drive

The P-Series drives operate with EtherCAT high-speed motion bus, offering real-time networking and  sophisticated servo functionality. A number of different feedback types are supported to drive a wide range of linear and rotary servo motors.
