Our next discussion group will convene on March 25, when we will be reading our "Florida-themed" book for this year, A Land Remembered by Patrick D. Smith.  The book, recommended by Jean K., is a multi-generational story about the MacIvey family, describing life in the central part of our state, the true "Old Florida" in the days before Disney; it has garnered several awards, including the Most Outstanding Florida Historical Novel.
