MEET
OUR ORPHAN
OF THE MONTH
"Sally"
Just look at that beautiful face!
Sally is a 4 year old, mostly light gray tortoise shell, short haired cat.
Sally is originally from Austin, Texas.
She came to the orphanage because her previous owner had to move and could not take Sally with her to California.
She likes to sit on your lap and be petted, so she'll be a very loving companion.
Playing with toys or just sunning herself at the window makes for a great day for her too!
Come by to meet her and she will definitely win your heart!
She is just waiting for a love connection!
Visit this orphan in person and complete your adoption application between now and March 24, 2013 to be able to take advantage of this great offer!
Visit us on-line or call 214-349-ELPO(3576) for more information on all our wonderful animals available for adoption!
As our Orphan of the Month for February, you can adopt Sally at 20% off of the regular $135 adoption donation for felines.

Passion with a Purpose
Amy Crenshaw
Amy is one of our East Lake Pet Orphanage volunteers. Amy, who is employed by Brinker, had the opportunity to qualify for a $500 charitable contribution to a certified nonprofit through the Brinker program,
Passion with a Purpose.
Amy met the requirements of 40 volunteer hours during the Brinker fiscal year and qualified for this donation. Thanks to Amy's hard work and many volunteer hours, Brinker donated $500 to the
East Lake Pet Orphanage.
Thank you Amy!
A quote from the Brinker staff "Brinker has always had a percentage of the charitable budget earmarked for local community involvement. Now, instead of making large donations to a few selected organizations, we are letting BrinkerHeads choose where these contributions are made. So, put Brinker's money into a cause you are passionate about and help support Brinker's commitment to Giving Back to the communities we serve."

As a community shelter, we rely solely on private donations from people like you to provide life saving health care and preventative treatment for whatever time is needed until adoptive homes can be found. When you donate to East Lake Pet Orphanage, you prevent euthanasia and give a second chance to a pet in need.
The easiest way to make a donation is to go to our website at www.elpo.org or www.helppets.net. On the left-hand side of the page there is a button shaped like a bone that says donate. Click it, and you are taken to the page where you can use PayPal to send a secure payment.
You can also mail in a gift to: East Lake Pet Orphanage 10101 E. Northwest Hwy Dallas, TX 75238
Whether you can spare $5 or $100, your tax deductible contribution will make a difference!
