East Lake Pet Orphanage's Holiday Fund Drive

Please support East Lake Pet Orphanage's Holiday Fund Drive to help care for the homeless pets of our community.

Your gift of $15 can provide for the initial care for pets who urgently need your help. I urge you to send your Holiday Fund Drive gift as soon as possible to help the homeless pets of our community. You have my word we'll stretch your gift as much as possible and continue doing the most good for hungry and homeless pets.

Pet overpopulation is a community wide problem that requires each of us to do our part. The care and rehabilitation these deserving pets requires significant expense and covering these costs presents a considerable year end financial challenge. Can we count on your support to meet this challenge? Please send your gift today!

OUR ORPHAN

OF THE MONTH

"Mercedes"

Hi! My name is Mercedes !

Mercedes is an adorable pup born 6/29/12.

Her whiskery face speaks of her terrier heritage, as well as somewhere along the line she has some boxer in the family tree.

She was rescued from death row with her mom and 11 siblings, all of whom have been adopted except Mercedes, among the cutest of them all.
She is good with other dogs, loves people and is waiting for you to come meet her and take her home.

She loves to play with anything and everything and can't wait to give hugs and kisses to all she meets.

As our Orphan of the Month for November, you can adopt Mercedes at 20% off of the regular $165 adoption donation for canines.

Visit this orphan in person and complete your adoption application between now and December 16, 2012 to be able to take advantage of this great offer!

Visit us on-line or call 214-349-ELPO(3576) for more information on all our wonderful animals available for adoption!

MEET
OUR ORPHAN

OF THE MONTH

"Travis"

Hi! My name is Travis !

Travis, who is approaching his third birthday, is close to a puppy as a cat can get...

He is athletic, energetic, but well mannered.  He rarely barks... I mean meows.

He likes to play in water (his water bowl) sometimes, but it is just in good fun.

He is very intelligent (you can tell by the way he looks at you with his big green eyes).

He doesn't bite.  He waits his turn, which shows patience.

A home that doesn't have kids who are going throught their terrible two's would be ideal because Travis has his sensative side.

I've got to know Travis well the past year and a half (I'm a regular cat volunteer) and he's a wonderful boy who would love a permanent home.

Travis' bio was written by our loyal volunteer Daryl Davis (seen here with one of our orphans).

  Thank you Daryl!

As our Orphan of the Month for November, you can adopt Travis at 20% off of the regular $135 adoption donation for felines.

Visit this orphan in person and complete your adoption application between now and December 16, 2012 to be able to take advantage of this great offer!

Visit us on-line or call 214-349-ELPO(3576) for more information on all our wonderful animals available for adoption!

ELPO VOLUNTEERS
 A Special Thanks !!

East Lake Pet Orphanage relies heavily on our volunteers.  Many come to the hospital to play with and socialize our animals; others staff our offsites, which could not be conducted without their participation.

The month of October, our volunteers logged a record high of 611 hours.

Purrs, tail wags, and licks in appreciation from each of our oprhans for your continued help!

THANK YOU EVERYONE!

The easiest way to make a donation is to go to our website at www.elpo.org or www.helppets.net.  On the left-hand side of the page there is a button shaped like a bone that says donate. Click it, and you are taken to the page where you can use PayPal to send a secure payment.
