What's New In Your SFTI Community?
|
Welcome to the first of our monthly SFTI tech notes.
Every month, we will be keeping you, our community members, updated on latest developments from across the team as we continue to grow SFTI domestically and globally. We have many exciting product and service innovations planned for launch this year so we want to ensure you don't miss anything.
Most importantly, we need your feedback! If you have any queries or suggestions on topics covered in these updates, want to let us know what we can do differently, or if you would simply like to share some news with the rest of your SFTI community through this channel, please reach out to us.
From time to time, we may also include updates of an operational nature so feel free to forward the 'Stay Connected' subscription link below to colleagues who may benefit from these regular SFTI updates. Ian Jack, Global Head of SFTI @ianjacknyx

Thank you to those who completed our recent SFTI content community survey (and congratulations to the winner of the iPad mini draw who wishes to remain anonymous). Your valuable feedback is helping ensure we are on track with planned content expansion in the US. Expect to see new FX and options venues onboarded soon. We have left the survey open for those who still wish to share their thoughts. Take me to online survey

New Enhanced SFTI VCC Service

New Enhanced SFTI VCC...
|
Intra company only
|
Any customer to customer
|
We have enhanced our SFTI Virtual Control Circuit (VCC) to offer greater inter-connectivity among our SFTI community. Previously only available between two ports within the same company, this new improved service now supports customer to customer connectivity between any SFTI ports in the US, Canada* and internationally to a compatible port in the Basildon Liquidity Center. This greater flexibility means you can now benefit from a point-to-point connection, with multicast support, on a private layer 2 network between any two parties - either between your firm and a counterparty, or between two separate locations within your company. Customers must have a compatible SFTI IP port in each location to connect using SFTI VCC and can choose from a variety of VCC tunnel bandwidths (2Mb, 5Mb, 10Mb, 25Mb, 50Mb, 100Mb and 200Mb). Reach out to your account rep to order today. *Bandwidth and order terms vary for Toronto/Markham

Microwave/Millimeter Wave Connectivity
|
We have been fielding many questions from our customers regarding the availability of microwave connectivity from New York to Chicago. We are in the process of final vendor selection with a view to launching both microwave and metro millimeter wave services later in 2013.
Given the limited bandwidth capacity associated with these technologies, we welcome your feedback on which data feeds you would like conflated on these services and where. Please feel free to contact Russ Kohn ([email protected]) with suggestions or reach out to your account representative to discuss. We will keep you updated on developments in this area through future tech notes. |
