The 2016 North American Finals in Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie are being played this coming Labor Day weekend, Friday-Sunday, September 2-4, at Magnuson Park in Seattle with over 100 teams confirmed to attend from cities across the USA, Canada and the Caribbean.
The Seattle Gaels, who are hosting the 2016 Finals, invite those who were involved as players or supporters from the early days of the Gaels to attend an "Old Gaels" get-together to learn more about what's happening on the Labor Day weekend, to see if you'd like to be involved or just help get the word out.
The Old Gaels get-together is Thursday evening, July 28 at 7:30 pm at Murphy's Pub in Wallingford (
).
As a former player and/or supporter of the Gaels, please join us, and bring your friends!
Many of those involved in the Gaels in the 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s have already committed to attending. It'd be great if you were able to be there if for no other reason than to catch up with folks who were involved with you back in the day.
Please also invite any other "Old Gaels" players or supporters to also attend as there are many for whom we don't have an email address. Let me know if you have any questions.
