Joining the MacPherson Family as Honorary Stewards for the main race of the day on Sunday, the $50,000 Kent Stakes, is Sen. Karen Fraser whose father was born in Co. Cork. Sen. Fraser is the Senate Democratic Caucus Chair in Olympia where she has represented the 22nd District for the past 23 years. She has previously served as President of the Washington State Association of Counties and as Mayor of Lacey.

Families welcome - anyone 17 years old and under gets in free at Emerald Downs.
