HISTORIAN EXAMINES LEGACY OF EASTER REBELLION
Professor Andrew Sanders presents "Ireland Since 1916, A Century of Rebellion?" 

Irish History Professor Andrew Sanders has published extensively on modern Irish history, particularly on the conflict in Northern Ireland.  Currently teaching at Texas A&M University, he previously taught at the Clinton Institute for American Studies at University College Dublin, and at Seattle University from 2009-2010. A PhD Graduate of Queen's University Belfast, he has conducted research focusing on the role of the US in the Northern Ireland Peace Process. He is the author of Inside the IRA: Dissident Republicans and the War for Legitimacy and the co-author of Times of Troubles: Britain's War in Northern Ireland. He has published in a wide range of academic journals such as The Journal of Transatlantic Studies, Irish Political Studies and The British Journal of Politics and International Relations. He has also contributed work to the BBC, the Daily Telegraph and the Baltimore Sun.
