On Saturday at 2 pm, there's a special Senior Presentation of John Ford: Dreaming the Quiet Man. Narrated by Irish actor Gabriel Byrne and with extensive interviews with Maureen O' Hara and other aficionados of John Ford, the documentary is followed by yet another film on the mesmerizing effect of Connemara on Hollywood. It Came from Connemara captures the five year creative output of Roger Corman and his studio in the west of Ireland.
Seniors are offered a special admission rate of $5 for the 2 pm show (non-seniors $10) and admission is free to seniors through the Irish Immigrant Support Group - call Mary at 425-244-5147 for details.
