Ambassador of Ireland to the United States
Born in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary in 1952, Ambassador Anderson's mother was from Limerick and her father from Tipperary. The family moved to Kilkenny when she was eight, and later to Dublin where she attended University College, Dublin and joined the Department of Foreign Affairs in 1972. Since then she has served in Dublin, Geneva, Brussels, Paris, as Ambassador to the UN in New York and, since August 2013, as Ireland's first woman Ambassador to the US.
The Luncheon Program will start at 11:45 am, and Lunch will be served at approximately 12 noon.
Please reply without delay if you wish to attend as seating is limited. Please register the names of all in your party and their lunch choices (Chicken Salad or Shrimp Salad - see more specific lunch details). The cost, including tax and tip and payable at the door, is $25 per person (Irish seniors pay $15 through Irish Immigrant Support Group).
Note that parking is available across the street from McRory's in the CenturyLink Field parking lot. You must pay full price upfront for parking, but when you leave (max. 2 hours) you will be refunded all but $3 if you provide a McRory's Restaurant receipt. Please make sure to ask for a receipt as you leave the restaurant.

Breakfast With Ambassador Anne Anderson
Join Irish Network Seattle, the Seattle Chamber of Commerce and the Seattle Trade Alliance for a Women's Leadership Breakfast at 7:30 am on Tuesday, June 24, at the Rainier Club, 820 4th Ave, Seattle.
This breakfast meeting provides women at any career level with access to hear from Ireland's first woman Ambassador to the United States, network with attendees who range from emerging to current leaders, and learn about issues and tactics that can positively affect and enhance one's career trajectory.
