Mairead Brigid Corrigan, R.I.P.
1995 - 2014
Seattle's Irish community shares the pain of the Corrigan family of Seattle on the sudden death on January 16 of their 18 year old daughter and sister Mairead who graduated from Bishop Blanchet High School just last June.
Born March 9, 1995, Mairead became an accomplished Irish dancer making numerous friends in the Irish dancing community and in the Irish community at large. She performed at Irish functions all over Seattle with the Baile Glas Irish Dancers whose dancing teacher was her mother, Maggie. Her father Barrett is a teacher at Seattle's O'Dea High School.
In addition to parents Maggie and Barrett, Mairead is survived by her sisters Siobhan, Clare and Nora, grandparents John and Ellen Pringle, and a large and loving family of aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated this Thursday evening, January 23rd at 7 PM at Seattle's St. James Cathedral, 804 9th Ave.
