During the Christmas season, make sure to listen to a reading of Patrick Kavanagh's poem "A Christmas Childhood" where he captures the feelings of a boy "six Christmases of age" who is enchanted by the Irish countryside at Christmastime. To read the words of the poem, visit The Poetic Quotidian. The video also includes the singing of "The Wexford Carol" which originated from Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford in the 12th century.
