The 6th annual Gaelic Games Tournament at Seattle's Green Lake Fields (across from Spud Fish & Chips) will have teams participating from Vancouver, BC, Portland, Corvallis, and Seattle, in the Irish games of Hurling, Camogie, and men's and women's Gaelic Football. The first two games start at 10:30 am and you can see the full schedule at SeattleGaels.com. FREE admission all day, and the weather is expected to be 75° and dry!

Irish Seniors' Luncheon

Consul General of Ireland for the Western US, Gerry Staunton, will be the guest of honor at the Irish Seniors' Luncheon at 1 pm (NOTE time) at the Wilde Rover Restaurant, 111 Central Way, Kirkland. This is the Mayo man's last visit to Seattle as Consul General as he retires from the Irish Diplomatic Service in September. Gerry was instrumental in helping found Irish Network Seattle in 2010 and he retires from the Irish Diplomatic Service in September. You're invited to stop by and share your appreciation for someone who has been a great friend and advocate for the Irish in the Seattle area over the past five years.
