QANTAS AUTO CHECK-IN NOW AVAILABLE ACROSS DOMESTIC NETWORK
Qantas passengers travelling on the airlines domestic network can fly through the airport with the new Auto Check-in experience.
The new Auto Check-in allows passengers to access their boarding pass in three simple clicks.
Designed to streamline travel for domestic passengers, the new technology aims to improve the experience of customers not already taking advantage of Qantas' check-in via qantas.com or the Qantas app.
The Auto Check-in allows passengers to check-in, view or change their seat and flight.
Smartphone users flying Qantas will now be able to receive their boarding pass by just opening an SMS.
To give Qantas passengers more choice and flexibility, the airline has designed the Auto Check-in to include seat and flight change options, ensuring customers can tailor their journey and are 'ready to fly' before leaving home or work.
Passengers travelling with bags can print their bag tags by scanning their mobile boarding pass at the self-service kiosks.
Existing technology and face-to-face services will remain unchanged for all travellers. Passengers can check-in via the service desk or kiosks at the airport, the Qantas app or qantas.com 24 hours before their flight, allowing them to select their seat and access their boarding pass before arriving at the airport. |
QANTAS TO FLY DAILY BRISBANE TO NARITA
From 01 August 2015, Qantas will increase its upcoming Brisbane to Tokyo services from four to seven return flights a week, providing Qantas passengers with even more direct travel options to Japan.
The daily services will be operated with Qantas' fleet of Airbus 330s, fitted with both business class and economy class.
Qantas QF61 will depart Brisbane daily at 11.00 and arrive into Tokyo's Narita Airport at 19.15 the same day. Qantas QF62 will depart Narita daily at 20.55 and arrive into Brisbane at 07.15 the following day.
The current daily flights from Sydney to Narita will shift to Tokyo's Haneda Airport from 31 July 2015 , Tokyo's second international airport which is located much closer to the city itself. |

Qantas QF870 will depart Melbourne on Saturdays and Sundays at 09.00 and arrive into Hamilton Island at 12.10.
