Weekly Watering Number This spring looks like it could be a wet and sloppy one. If this prediction holds true, you may be able to leave the watering to Mother Nature for some time.

Sign up for the Weekly Watering Number (WWN), and we'll let you know when to start those sprinklers for this year's summer watering season.

The WWN is the amount of water that lawns and landscapes need each week. The number is based on weather in your zip code.

Speaking of the summer watering season, here's what you need to do to   get your sprinkler system ready for peak summer performance.

Washing Machine Basketball Kid's Game
Resources for spring break shenanigans

More rain is in the forecast this week which could make spring break pretty soggy if you're staying close to home. Here are a few ways to take advantage of the rainy weather to teach kids about water:
  • Shoot some baskets. Kids from across the nation are hitting the basketball courts this month for the annual National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) March Madness Tournament. While our Washing Machine Basketball game isn't on an actual court, kids of all ages can see if they have the home court advantage while playing this fun and informative game.

  • Be a detective. Fixing leaky faucets or toilets should be left to grown ups, but kids can play an important role in helping to put a stop to leaks at home and school by becoming junior leak detectives.

  • Curl up with a good book. Our What Do You Know About H2O activity book is full of fun-drenched pages that will test your kiddo's water smarts.

Check out the kids section of our website for more fun activities.
