A message from Maestro Benson:

Welcome to our new musicians and welcome back to returning musicians.  Auditions have gone well and we are putting together our orchestra rosters.  The entire staff and Board are excited about our upcoming season with lots of music events!

Rehearsals are beginning soon so be ready to make great music.  We are looking forward to getting started!

Fall Fundraiser:
This fall we will offer the Simoniz Car Wash Coupons and Emergency Safety Kits for students to fulfill their fundraising commitment to the orchestra. If you choose, you may opt-out of the fundraising by including an additional $125 with your tuition payment. Find out more at our parents meeting on Wed, Sept 7th!

Vol Meeting
Calling all volunteers!
We will have a "drop-in" volunteer meeting during rehearsals on September 22nd, 3:30-7:30.

Volunteers are the heart of CVYO!  (Students can volunteer too!)  Every Board position from the President and beyond is a volunteer position. These are people from all walks of life coming together for one main purpose -
To Inspire Youth Through Music!
Please consider becoming a volunteer or Board Member.

Young Ladies performance gowns

Young ladies in the youth orchestra (and other interested young ladies) will need a concert gown for performances. For your convenience, we provide the opportunity for you to fit for and purchase a gown on September 29 and October 6 from 6:30-7pm. Cost is $65 and payment is due at the fitting. See the gown details here. If you own a gown that you think may work, bring it to a fitting for approval. Please email: contact@cvyo.org with any questions.
Musician's Handbook
All musicians will receive a Musicians Handbook and agreement at their first rehearsal. Please read this document thoroughly, mark your calendars and email: contact@cvyo.org with any questions. Get an electronic copy here.

Who are CVYO Student Ambassadors?

CVYO musicians and alumni who want to give back to their communities through performances in small ensembles and solos. CVYO SAs earn community service hours too. Learn more and sign up by clicking this link.
CVYO t-shirts are available
CVYO t-shirts make it easy for staff and others to recognize our students when rehearsing and performing off site. They're fun too!

This year, t-shirt orders can be submitted with your tuition. A limited number of t-shirts will be available for purchase at at the Parent Meeting and at rehearsals on September  8 & 15. $15 each.
