PITA PALS
Noah Meimoun and Esther Gerlitz are cooking up some pita bread for their History and Halacha of Jewish Cooking elective. Morah Elisheva will guide the students through a variety of tasty Jewish recipes while delving into their historical and halachic significance.
AMI IS A NOUN
Students in Ms. Bigham's class are learning about nouns and use student Ami Gelman as the test subject where students stuck post it notes with examples of body parts that serve as nouns. His classmates found this activity quite hilarious and Ami was a great sport!

EC 3 students Liel Karo (l) and Sion Moshe (r) are at the puzzles center working on matching up different types of people.
FAMILY TREE
Morah Heather works with her EC 4 students (l-r) Emma Cohen, Odia Shitrit and Perry Aronov to create a picture of their family trees that they will use to populate with information about their families.
BUDDING SCIENTISTS

Art Teacher Colleen Bryant is instructing her 4th grade students about the techniques and self reflection involved in creating self portraits using black ink pens before they work on their individual pieces.

TORAH CAFE
Director of Student Life Rafi Engelhart is leading our weekly after school Torah Cafe sessions geared towards Middle School students to enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere for an in-depth study and discussion of Torah.

Flag Football
The RMBA Flag Football team opened up its season with a tough loss to Southwest Christian. The Stars travel to Briarwood on September 1st to take on the Mustangs. The Stars are led once again by Coach Michael Stribling. To access the Flag Football Schedule, please click here
High School Volleyball
On Thursday, September 1st, the HS Volleyball team under new coach Naima Bagot travel to Southwest Christian to take on SWCA. The Stars will play at home next Tuesday against Westbury Christian. Complete Volleyball Game schedules can be found by clicking here
Middle School Volleyball
The Beren Academy MS Volleyball team lost a close game on Tuesday against Grace. They have a tough week next week with 3 straight days of games.
