SALUTE TO OUR SOLDIERS
Memorial Day Services were held for both Middle and High School students. A group of students approached Ms. Cedano about creating a ceremony that would remind their peers about the importance of this National Holiday. High School and Middle School welcomed Marc Passy and Jack Schlossberg respectively to speak and share their first hand accounts.
BLUE BUTTERFLIES
Our first graders enjoyed a wonderful day at Moody Gardens where they were able to apply their studies about Rain Forests while wearing shirts they decorated with various animals that inhabit rain forests and many of them they saw in person! (l-r) Maayan Milo, Maya Bublil and Maya Ashlag.
LAG B'OMER PICNIC
In honor of Lag B'Omer, EC 3 students enjoyed an indoor picnic while pretending to learn Torah with Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai in a cave. Then Morah Aviva pretended to be a Roman soldier, and came around checking to be sure the children were not learning Torah. Everyone hid the Torah and said: "No way, we're just having fun eating our food!" The children had so much fun that they repeated the reenactment several times!
FAMOUS FACES
Ms Fowler's students each made presentations as famous individuals and educated their peers about their biographies. (l-r) Hodaya Vaknin as Clara Barton, Abbie Agranov as Pocahontas and Shir Tzion Carmel as Moshe Dayan.
SPLASH DAY FUN
EC students Ryan Gonik (l) and Oriya Vaknin (r) got silly as they enjoyed out PTO sponsored Early Childhood Splash Day party filled with a yummy breakfast, outdoor water activities and shaving cream! A big thanks to PTO president Dawne Yarmush for leading the incredible PTO initiatives all year!
CITY KIDS
Morah Roza's 3rd graders made their final Hebrew project presentation where they each selected a city in Israel, created a project and then presented to the class in Hebrew.
LIFE CYCLE
Kindergarten students patiently watched as their class caterpillar spun a cocoon and transformed into a shiny chrysalis. This week, a butterfly had finally emerged and together they gleefully released Spotty Jnr. outside.
PARTY TIME
Morah Elisheva's 2nd and 3rd graders celebrated the end of the school year with parties. 3rd grade celebrated the completion of learning Parshat Toldot in their Chumash studies and each child shared a Dvar Torah and yummy snacks. 2nd grade enjoyed a "Charlotte's Web" party as they completed the book and everyone dressed up as their favorite character and watched the movie with treats.
WE ARE FAMILY
At RMBA we are proud to foster a feeling of community and family and this year, Mrs. Rosenzweig and Mrs. Schneider had the unique opportunity to teach each other's sons.
ERETZ YISRAEL
Our wonderful Bnot Sherut Rennana and Shani created this special slide show for their students for their final Shiurei Tziyonut celebrating all the students had learned about Israel this year.
