Batyah Footnick's mother surprised the Kindergarten class as the mystery reader dressed as a bunny rabbit who read the delightful story, "The Tickle Tree" to the class.

Mrs. Fowler's students used counting chains to recreate geometrical shapes.
POINT AND SHOOT
Michael Duke from the Jewish Herald Voice conducted a 3 week course with our Middle School Photography students where they photographed with film cameras, developed their film and learned about the chemical process, and will then learn to scan film and be able to print one of their images.
READY FOR RAIN
Emma Yadan is decorating her t-shirt ahead of the rainforest themed field trip to Moody Gardens. The rainforest animal she has chosen to draw on her t-shirt is a sloth.
KNOWLEDGE OF ISRAEL
Our Bnot Sheirut completed their final lessons this week with the elementary school students. Each week, Rennana and Shani created a lesson that educated students about a variety of aspects pertaining to Israel. In this lesson, they are playing Israel Jeopardy with 4th graders as they are tested regarding the knowledge throughout the year.
STILL LIFE
EC3 students finished their artistic exploration and teaching unit titled "Looking At Art Through A Child's Eyes" by focusing on their fifth and final artist, Vincent Van Gogh and then each drew their own interpretation of a still life of flowers.
HOORAY FOR US!
Mrs. Thomas's EC 2 students are celebrating the end of a fun and productive school year together by decorating t-shirts with each of their hand prints.
WALKING HISTORY
High school students enjoyed the privilege of a visit from Gladys Gerszon who at 92 years of age has led a rich and interesting life that includes her formative years spent in Aleppo, Syria that at one time enjoyed a thriving Jewish Community.
THATS A WRAP
Mrs. Bryant held her final Name That Book Competition where upper elementary school students worked in teams as their knowledge of various books they had read above and beyond their curriculum was on display.
MOVING ONWARD AND UPWARDS
Our EC 4 students celebrated their Aleph Bet ABC Siyum with their family and friends to mark this joyous occasion as they prepare to move on to Kindergarten next year.
