INTERESTING ANIMALS
Abbie Agranov works with her peers in Mrs. Fowler's class to identify the various animals found in rain forests.
MIX IT UP
Ben Ackerman and his classmates are practicing to make soup for Shabbat. Each student takes a turn to identify and add an ingredient.
CAPTURED
Middle School photography students Noah Geralnik (l) and Jacob Plumb (r) enjoyed a guest teacher, JHV editor and photographer Michael Duke. Students worked in pairs and their assignment involved photographing a number of different compositions while using a variety of cameras.
COUNT ON ME
Maya Bublil and Emma Yadan are working on addition and subtraction using bead chains in Ms. Bigham's class.
GALLON GALS
Rina Levitt and Chana Jacobson in Ms. Berger's class display their Gallon people they created that are comprised of various parts that equate to different units of measurement.
DRIP DROP
EC3 is learning about Jackson Pollack. They reviewed his various art pieces on the computer and then each student had a chance to perform the drip method as they created their own Pollack inspired art piece.
THE END IS NEAR
Rabbi Yaakov Glasser, the David Mitzner Dean of Yeshiva University's Center for the Jewish Future, spoke to our High School students this week as part of a Siyum celebrating a year of Judaic learning. In addition, Rabbi Glasser also made time for a Lunch n' Learn in-service with the Judaic Teachers as well.
