VIDEO HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK
|
Enjoy a sort video of our First Grade Purim play performed entirely in Hebrew.
|
ALCOHOL AWARENESS Our Upper School students and parents were privileged to hear Sean Carter and his mother Jenny Carter share Sean's challenging life story connected to raising alcohol awareness.
FROZEN Mrs. Schneider's 1st grade students participated in a fun experiment where they froze orange juice to determine what would happen to the liquid once frozen. Luckily, they froze into delicious popsicles as most predicted.
WHAT A STORY
EC3 worked on creating their very own Megillah as part of their studies about Purim.
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
Ms. Berger's students are working on sources of inspiration for their science fair topics for the upcoming fair and together created a project about the effects of what we drink on our teeth as an example. (l-r) Joshua Long, Ofir Tessler, Chana Jacobson, Sarah Kira.
PURIM PUNIMS
EC 4 students have worked on multiple Purim craft projects.
(l-r) Anaelle Levenstein, Yarin Jarufi, Ryan Gonik, Eliah Ratchcovski.
SOUNDS LIKE Ms. Fowler's class is learning about sound and following a presentation from our Nurse Aliza about the ear, students participated in a number of experiments and activities connected to sound. Ariana Ackerman is at one of the sound station with Roni Bardugo looking on.
CRAZY CHARACTERS
Students have been getting into the spirit of Purim thanks to creative dress-up themed days throughout the week including favorite TV characters or Dress like a Teacher or Principal and your favorite person from the Torah.
RUN FOR THE ROSE
Several students from RMBA participated in the Run for the Rose t-shirt design contest this year and Noa Geralnik's drawing (below) was one of the finalists! Kol Hakavod.
AIPAC INSPIRED Rabbi Levitt led a group of eight RMBA students to AIPAC and joined almost 19,000 Pro-Israel supporters to lobby Congressmen, learn about the latest issues affecting the America-Israel alliance, and show solidarity with Israel.
