VIDEO HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK
In honor of Rosh Chodesh Adar II, Morah Gross gathered her students to sing Mishe mishe mishenichnas Adar!

PAST RMBA HIGHLIGHTS

MYSTERY READER
The Kindergarten students were treated to a mystery reader and  two stories by Meena Dhanjal who recently visited our school during the "ReelAbilities" week from the JFS. Meena has been confined to a wheelchair for over 15 years due to an accident. She has created her own series of stories for children about people in wheelchairs that illustrate how a person with this type of disability can do the same things as others but somewhat differently.

SHABBAT
Shabbat celebrations are always special at RMBA and last Friday in EC2, Oshri Ratchovski(r) and Emma Chorev (l) were the esteemed Abba and Imma in their classroom.

FACTORING FRACTIONS
Sixth graders have being working very hard on fraction operations. As a final activity before the test, the students made and sang cheers about each of the fraction operations. This is a way for students to have fun while reviewing the steps to add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions.

TORAH FAIR
Torah Fair was an incredible event where we welcomed close to 300 guests to our school to experience the work of our students who created detailed projects and interactive games for their family and friends. Guests then enjoyed a wonderful Houston evening dinner outdoors.

FAMOUS FRIENDS
Morah Elisheva's grade 2 class each selected a historical figure to impersonate and present their life history to their family and peers. From Rosa Parks to Babe Ruth, the room was filled with remarkable individuals and talent.

CAMP IS COOL
While our teachers participated in an engaging Professional Development course, some of our students signed up for mini camp run by our 11th grade students who are fundraising for their Israel trip later this year. students enjoyed time in the gym, art room and computer lab to name a few of the fun and fabulous activities.

 IMPRESSIVE ARTIFACT
Joshua Danziger shared a remarkable Jewish artifact with his peers during show and tell in Morah Gross's 4th grade class this week. Joshua's father collects Judaic artifacts and recently procured a Menorah made out of wood, made by a Jew in the Stanislawow Ghetto in Ukraine during WWII. It is engraved with the Latin phrase "Through hardships to the stars".

MASKED
Purim fever is upon us as EC 3 students learn the story and message of Purim while making fun and exciting masks. Kuti Schoen (l) is the a friendly lion while Orli Goldstein (r) is Hello Kitty.

STRONG BONES
Following a visit to the Health Museum, 3rd grade classmates (l-r) Mae Vesgrozki, Jordi Yoshor and Hodaya Vaknim prepare to present their project on bones to their peers.

LINE UP
Here are some pics of Kindergarten working on large scale paintings of different types of line.

CREATIVE FOLK
Our 5th grade students are beginning the work for our Judaic Yaakov Agam- inspired sculpture! 5th graders are working on the creation-themed side of the sculpture, and other grade levels will continue with the panels for the "Destruction" and "Re-creation" themed sides. We have 21 total panels that need to be painted before the sculpture can be built- a goal we are aiming to complete before Pesach.

WAX ON WAX OFF
Morah Rinat's classes are engaging in a fun experiment in honor of Purim. Students each get to experience being the role of the teacher for 15 minutes with a prepared assignment for their students to complete.
