VIDEO HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK
Kindergarten students enjoy their weekly time with music teacher Ms. Ronith. Students are learning about notes and sounds and incorporating instruments into their repertoire.

PAST RMBA HIGHLIGHTS
HIGH ON RETREAT
Our high school students enjoyed their annual retreat last week. From color wars to challenging discussions to bonfire bonding, yet another memorable high school milestone was achieved.

100 DAYS OF SCHOOL
Students recently celebrated the occasion of 100 days of school for this academic year. Kindergarten students made hats, Cherio necklaces, and enjoyed yummy treats. In Morah Elisheva's 2nd grade class, students made glasses styled in 100 days fashion and baked delicious brownies.

RMBA FARMERS MARKET
After much patience, Ms. Bigham's class finally harvested items from their vegetable garden included radishes, carrots and kale followed by a taste test of the vegetables of their labor.

I AM ROBOT
Ms. Jones gave her students class some hands-on projects recently. They were given instructions to create a solar power robot and leapt to the challenge to work together to assemble their very own robot and successfully test it outside.  Joshua Danziger shared "Our teacher gave us a robot and said "explore" so we did. We built it. We tested it and we succeeded!"  Next, they had to assemble a pulley system and Ms. Lubel  can vouch for it's success.

BUILDING BLOCKS
EC 4 students Yarin Jarufi and Anaelle Levenstein are creating a Mishkan - a Holy Tent out of delicious snack food.

CAKE WARS
This week, we held the first of our High School grade events starting with the freshmen where they had to decorate cakes in teams based on kids movie themes.  They were incredibly creative and delicious!

TIME TO GET REAL
As part of the Houston ReelAbilities Film Festival our students have enjoyed presentations and movies that speak to a better understanding about disabilties.  Our 4th and 5th graders watched "The Commute" and spent time with author Meena Dhanjal who shared insights regarding her life in a wheelchair.
