NURSE'S NOOK
Please remember to email or call the nurse if your child is out of school for any health issue. This is especially important as we are in the cold and flu season. Thank you in advance.

If your child needs to take medication on campus for any reason, please make sure you fill out the medication form and bring the medication to clinic. Under no circumstances may a student have any medication in their possession while on campus.

WELCOME TO RMBA!

We are delighted to welcome Jeremy Morgan (7th), Ellen Morgan (5th), Hailey Morgan  (4th), Matthew Morgan (2nd), Noah Jacobs (K), Orel Ratchcovski (EC15) and Alex Fink (EC15). We are proud to share that we currently have 324 students enrolled! 

VIDEO HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK 
The Annual RMBA Spelling Bee was held today! Qualifying students competed and after almost two nail-biting hours, Ariel Lagnado (4th Grade) claimed the top prize with Shoshana Braun (8th Grade) coming in second place. Enjoy this short video of Ariel in action during an earlier round. 

PAST RMBA HIGHLIGHTS 
WHOOP IT UP
Our annual Elementary School Talent show held on the last day of the semester was a huge success. We had talented piano players, gymnast, dancers and singers to name a few of the incredible talents shared that day. Leenoy Jarufi(l) and Liviya Schlachter (r). 


RAIN DROPS 
TPG #2 was held during the winter break. Families discussed that not only do we need to daven for rain is Israel, but we also need to improve our behavior to ensure it.  Children then created a drop of rain and wrote about the good things they that warrants deserving rain.  Rina (l) and Simcha (r) share their drops with their mom, Elisheva Levitt below. 


COUNTDOWN CREW
Ms. Schneider's first graders are practicing their counting skills in various multiples with a visual class aid. 


DO YOU WANT TO BUILD A SNOWMAN?
Oshri Raitchcovski (EC2) enjoys some one on one time while working with Ms. Juarez to recreate the image of a snowman using various materials and techniques.


THE WRITE STUFF
Kindergarten student Gavriel Amir works on a writing exercise where he will eagerly share with his classmates the exciting activities he did during winter break.  


NUTS AND BOLTS
EC 3 students have a new activity center in class where they will work on their fine motor skills and practice to tighten screws using a screw driver. Yael Shitrit is focused on her turn as Daphna Agranov (l) and Perry Aranov (r) look on. 


TOPSY TURVY
EC4 students are currently enjoying a segment where they learn about famous painters. In this photograph below, Jacob Levit (l) and Sivan Melnik (r) are getting a stylistic taste of Italian Artist Michelangelo.


CAMPUS LIFE TO COME
Our 11th and 12th Graders welcomed visitors from the Hebrew program at the University of Texas. Our guests shared interesting insights into life on campus as a Jewish student in addition to the challenging Hebrew program offered at UT.

ATHLETICS UPDATES 
Basketball
High School Girls
The Girls returned from winter break with a tough game against Southwest Christian. They open up TAPPS district play against Brazosport Christian on Thursday night at 5:00 PM. The game will take place at Beren Academy

High School Boys
The high school boys varsity played in their first game back from winter break and beat Southwest Christian 42-37. They will take on Brazosport Christian Thursday night at 7:00 PM. The game will be a played at Beren Academy and will be the first TAPPS district game of the season.

Middle School Boys

The middle school girls will resume their normal practice and game schedule this Sunday, January 10th. 


If your child will miss a practice or a game, please let the coach know prior to the practice.  It can come in the form of a text or an e-mail.  Please do not have another player relay the message as it often forgotten or not accurate.
