FAMOUS FACES
Morah Rinat's 4th Grade students each selected a famous person and created a presentation about their life in Hebrew followed by asking that person 5 questions they wished to know. Parents were invited to join the class for these insightful interviews.
BEREN STARS
EC3 students (l-r) Meira Meckley and Hannah Juarez studied Lech Lecha this week and created beautiful sand art that illustrates Hashem's promise to Avraham that Bnei Yisrael will be as many as there are stars in the sky.
SIGHT WORDS
Kindergarten students are learning their letters and beginning to identify short words and Mrs. Blumberg is helping Matti Katz-Warmflash practice his sight words.
I EXERCISE
Mrs. Schneider's 1st graders are learning their short "i"sounding words with an interactive game that involves fun, physical activity once the class correctly pronounces a list of words.
ART MEETS TORAH
Morah Roza's 4th graders are eagerly anticipating artist David Moss's visit to RMBA this month. Inspired by his interpretations of parshot through art, students each created their own artistic interpretation of a particular parsha using no words and just symbols ot images to express their vision.
AIPAC SUMMIT
This week, a group of RMBA students attended the prestigious AIPAC Schusterman Advocacy Institute High School Summit in Washington DC. Kol Hakavod to Tania Blanga, Deborah Brown, Chaim Gerlitz, Nathan Lashak, Goldie Serwatien, Shira Levitt, Adina Passy, Mikayla Shkedy, Moshe Serwatien and chaperone Morah Rinat Alatin for representing our school so admirably.
MIGHTY CAMPERS Due to our staff professional development day this past Monday, school was closed but RMBA held a mini-camp run by 11th and 12th graders for students in grades K-5. STUDY ABROAD Our 12th grade students enjoyed visits from various Yeshivas and Seminaries earlier this week before they leave to visit these institutions in person while in Israel. Pictured below, students are learning about the Midreshet HaRova program with Rabbi Michael Sussman and with Rabbi Mordechai Berg from Yeshivat Mevaseret Zion.
TWO HEADS ARE BETTER THAN ONE Mrs. Jones had 4th grade students Joshua Danziger and Ariel Lagnado paired up to classify various types of adjectives. Who knew there were so many different kinds?
