GET SORTED
EC 15 students (l-r) Orin Gonik, Agam Jarufi, Ruth Shamooelian, Ariel Karo, Amalya Kalman, Teacher Alissa Frenzel, Eden Bliberg and Yael Agranov sorted jumbo farm animals. Sorting is a beginning math skill where they begin to understand that things are alike and different as well as that they can belong and be organized into certain groups.

TICKLED PINK
Mrs. Blumberg brought special apples to share with her Kindergarten class that are pink inside.  She cut them up in front of the students and they were so surprised to see the unusual color. It was then tied to Morah Gelman's Hebrew lesson since they had just finished learning letter vav and learned that "varod" which starts with a vav means pink.
