PAST RMBA HIGHLIGHTS
YOM HASHOAH TEKES
RMBA 9th grade students lead an impressive and heartfelt ceremony reminding us all of the terrible tragedy of the Holocaust and the important task we share to remember the events and never to allow them to be repeated again. Survivor Bill Orlin shared his impressive story and left us all with the sentiment that we should never give up no matter what we face ahead of us.

YOM HASHOAH EXHIBIT

Every year, the Beren Jefferson Bet Midrash is transformed into a moving Yom Hashoah Museum filled with beautiful and touching projects and artwork created by our very own students. Teachers take their students to tour the museum throughout the week to be to be engaged by the stories shared, inspired by the work of their peers and to remember the importance of the Holocaust.

YOM HAATZMAUT PREPARATIONS
As we near the celebration of Israeli Independence Day, our EC2 students are creating an Israeli flag for display in their class using their combined blue ink hand prints.

FASHIONISTAS
Some of our High School girls in Mrs. Levitt's class helped to create and participate in the first RMBA Fashion show. This ladies only event was a huge success with guests enjoying delectable homemade desserts while our students modelled gorgeous outfits like stars!

ULPAN MAASI
Elementary students enjoyed a Pesach themed Ulpan Maasi on the last day of school before the break by decorating napkin holders, creating a cup for Eliyahu Hanevi and a Hebrew scavenger hunt for Chametz located around the school.

FUN WITH PHOTOSYNTHESIS
Elementary school students had a very interactive lesson to learn about the process of photosynthesis that plants use to make their food and ours and each played an integral role as their teachers explained each step of the process in detail.

READY TO READ
RMBA Middle school kids volunteered for Read For Houston as they delivered over 500 books and read to children at the Head Start Preschool. Readers included are Jeffrey and Sophia Collins, Noah Meimoun and Tavi Poche.

MATH HELPERS
Math Helpers is a group of RMBA students who meet twice a week to get help in math or to help other students. From the beginning of the year Mrs. Rosenzweig has partnered, guided and encouraged students so they can help each other having a positive effect on students' grades. Mrs. Rosenzweig wants to thank all the amazing tutors for the hard work, specially the following students: Yael Passy, Jeffrey Collins, Ariella Ruben, Noah Meimoun and Dan Melnik.
