ALL SHAPES AND SIZES
When not working on their personalized Haggadot or learning about W, the letter of the week, students continue to tackle their developmental curriculum by exploring shapes and sizes through pattern blocking.
WHAT'S YOUR ANGLE?
Elementary school students in Math are creatively learning from one another. Mrs. Jones instructed a student about triangles and that student in turn taught her peers about the ins and outs of triangles as they pertain to geometry.
PESACH TIME
EC 3 students are learning about the story of Pesach and created their own versions of Kriyat Yam Suf, the parting of the Red Sea. They are also learning about the order of the seder and making their own seder pillows.
THE LITTLE MERMAID
The drama club once again knocked it out of the ball park with three energized performances of The Little Mermaid. A huge Mazal Tov to the cast and crew who put in countless hours preparing for the annual school play. And thank you to Colleen Bryant and Laura Mitzner Paletz for successfully overseeing the production once again.
A NIGHT AT RMBA
The Middle School students enjoyed a fun overnight adventure at school earlier this week. The theme was Cheirut - Freedom in honor of Pesach and the sleepover was a productive and bonding experience filled with fun activities, great conversation, delicious food, a bonfire and a movie!
ALWAYS ON THE MOVE
EC 2 students are always on the go in their gym classes using playground balls and hula hoops to roll, chase and shoot! They also practrice their climbing, balancing turn taking skills using steps thanks to Coach Buchine's instruction.
GEOGRAPHY BEE
3rd - 8th grade students gathered in the gym for our Annual Geography Bee. The study of the earth was tested with students demonstrating their worldly knowledge. Congratulations to first place winner Ariel Lagnado (Grade 3) and second place finisher Benjamin Chorn (Grade 4) and all the finalists.
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
Our 4th graders are putting in plenty of time and effort to memorize their lines to perfection for their upcoming Pesach performance next week.
PI DAY
Middle School math students celebrated Ultimate Pi day in a variety of creative and fun ways!
HALLWAY TISCH
Our high school students enjoyed a hallway tisch (gathering) to get in the mood for shabbat with some delicious cholent and fun music and songs.
DAGLANUT PRACTICE
Middle School students are diligently practicing for their upcoming Daglanut (Israeli Flag Dance) performances for Yom Haatzmaut for the school and for the community.
