PAST RMBA HIGHLIGHTS

SAN ANTONIO BOUND

Our 4th Grade students headed off for a packed two day adventure to San Antonio. Highlights included visits to the Institute of Texan Culture, the Alamo and Natural Bridge Caverns and the obligatory Buccees Slushy pit stop!

HAGGADAH HAPPENINGS
EC4 students are working diligently on creating their very own Haggadot over the next few weeks to take home for Pesach. This condensed version is both descriptive and colorful filled with the story the Jews in Egypt and the symbolisms of Pesach including matzah, the seder plate and more!

SCIENCE MEETS MATH

Elementary students have been studying the skeleton and made a replica using plastic containers of various sizes. Students then filled the containers with beans and determined how many of the smaller bean filled bottles fit into the gallon containers.

ONLINE AWARENESS

RMBA parent Paul Silverman generously volunteered his time and services to share an Online Awareness and Mobile Device Addiction presentation with parents this week. Paul is the founder of the website onlinekidcop.com, that teaches parents the technology skills to help keep their children safe online and on social media sites.

LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION!

It has finally arrived and The Little Mermaid is going live tonight! Following months of preparation and rehearsals, the RMBA drama production is ready for your consumption. Get your tickets today and join us this evening, Saturday night or Sunday morning!

MATH MADE FUN

Math concepts like measurement, weight, counting, shapes, patterning etc. are taught during Kindergarten Math lessons using manipulatives in a very hands-on manner. During centers time the children use the various manipulatives in the Math Center and play games and activities to review the previously taught concepts.

LUSTING FOR LETTERS
EC 3 students are steadily working on identifying the letters of the alphabet and learning to create basic words and spelling their own names.

ENRICHING EXPERIENCES
Due to the recently expanded size of our Early Childhood program, we recognized the need to create a space for our youngsters to explore and learn and have created an early childhood enrichment center.  Filled with challenging manipulatives and activities, our tots have a dedicated space to be engaged and stimulated, especially during those rainy days!
