PAST RMBA HIGHLIGHTS
HIGH FROM RETREAT
Our high school super heroes made the trek to CYJ to enjoy a 3 day retreat filled with fun and bonding programs and an uplifting Shabbat experience with memories to last a life time.

CHATTING OVER CROISSANTS AND COFFEE
Guidance Counselor Stacey Laves-Khalifa hosted a gathering for RMBA parents to discuss building resilience in students. Guests enjoyed coffee and croissants while learning additional tools to nurture the growth of their children.

WE'VE GOT THE SPIRIT!
In honor of Rosh Chodesh Shvat, RMBA students were encouraged to wear their RMBA Spirit wear shirts. Students proudly wear their shirts and it is encouraging to see the visible unity and togetherness of our school on such occasions.

LITTLE MERMAID
The opening of our High School Play, "The Little Mermaid" is fast approaching with and scenery design nearing its completion and weekly rehearsals for our on stage and behind the scenes talent. An incredible two thirds of our High School students are involved in this year's production. Stay tuned for ticket information in February...

SMITTEN WITH THE MITTEN
In honor of the winter season and the warmer clothing we have needed to wear over the past few weeks, EC4 students have been reading and comparing three different adaptations of a Ukrainian Folk Tale called The Mitten. They then designed and created their very own mitten along with puppets to keep inside the mitten of animals features in the story.

WINTER BLUES
Our EC3 students have been learning about the winter season and created pictures of their own snowmen in addition to painting with ice and different paint textures to create the look of snow. Students have also enjoyed indoor dramatic play with the addition of winter gear such as gloves, hats and scarves.

I SEE CELLS
Upper Elementary School students are vigorously studying cells and some took the initiative to gather algae from outside during the rainy weather to examine under a microscope.

DOCUMENT CAMERAS
Many thanks to our generous donor who underwrote the procurement and installation of document cameras in many of our Middle School classrooms. Teachers are incorporating this useful technology to further enhance their teaching and interactions with students. If you are interested in possibly underwriting document cameras for our Elementary School classrooms, please contact Leigh Levine.
