April 26-28, 2013
Mystical Writings of Bah'u'llh
With Ashkan Monfared

Mysticism has been defined as the journey of a human soul from its earthly abode to the height of "nearness to his Lord". Bah'u'llh in The Seven Valleys, His magnum opus on this subject, approves of several mystical concepts portrayed by the philosophers of the past and rejects others such as oneness of the human soul with God. For better familiarity with the complex subjects of this book, parallels from the Writings of the Central Figures of the Faith as well as the Guardian are drawn upon. Lectures on the individual Valleys are followed by discussion sessions in the style of the institute process. In addition to gaining a greater familiarity with this Text, the participants will be able to enhance their basic skills in studying the Writings of the Faith through consulting the Sacred Text and discussions with the friends.

A children's program will be offered if enough children are registered to form classes. Scholarships are available, and may be requested during the online registration process.  Please click HERE to register for this program.

May 16-19
BNASAA Conference
 "Challenging Habits of Thought"

The stated purpose of BNASAA is to explore Bah' principles related to AIDS, human sexuality, addictions, abuse and other challenging personal issues and to consider questions and concerns that arise in the application of these principles to Bah' community development. In this exploration it is important to challenge our habitual ways of thinking about these issues.

The Network's goal is to provide a loving and supportive environment in which participants can share experiences in an atmosphere of confidentiality. All participants, whether health professionals, members of Bah' Institutions, or individuals struggling with particular issues, are asked to manifest an attitude of loving support, and to actively participate in creating a non-judgmental and healing environment. BNASAA is a committee appointed by the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bah's of Canada.

Scholarships are available, and may be requested during the online registration process.  Please click  HERE to register for this program.
