Torah study in Lenox on Wed. evening, 6/5 at 7PM.

 An alternative siddur designed for this hike will be provided. Please bring bug spray and water. No fee. All are welcome.

Torah Study through the Lens of Jewish Mysticism

    Ongoing Torah Study Classes through June 

 

B'MIDBAR

            Every Wednesday in Lenox
                   June 5, 12, 19, 26
 
                      7:00 - 8:30PM
 
        Chapel of the Church on the Hill
                   55 Main St., Lenox
 
 
Participants will delve into the book of Numbers that recounts the many trials and tribulations of the Israelites during their forty years of wilderness wanderings. Rebellion, intrigue, politics and family drama punctuate much of this book. 
 
Class members should read each parasha in English prior to the class and with that basic grounding are invited to engage with the commentaries of the  Hasidic masters of Jewish mysticism from the 18th through the early 20th centuries. All classes are taught by Rabba Kaya Stern-Kaufman. Class fee is $12. 
 
Each class stands on its own.  All are welcome regardless of background.
