The Brightsong Team
Brightsong Clinic

Our goal has always been to have a clinic space where we could have a central location for our office and a space to provide individual and group therapy programs.  After four years of hard work, we are so excited to reach our goal!

The Brightsong Pediatric Therapy Clinic is located in Cordova by the AgriCenter.  The address is 70 Timber Creek, Suite 1.  Renovations start this week and we plan to move in by June 2014!

Even after the clinic opens, we will continue to provide therapy and education services in the home, school or community setting.  The clinic will give us more options for therapy programs and will be an option for individual therapy as well.

Stay tuned for more information about our summer programs.

Autism Awareness

The month of April is nationally recognized as Autism Awareness Month and has been since the 1970's.   Autism is a complex developmental disability. It affects individuals differently and to varying degrees. Currently, there is no known cause of autism. Recent studies by the CDC (Center for Disease Control) show the prevalence of autism is increasing. Now, 1 in every 68 children is diagnosed with autism, with an increased prevalence in school-aged children. There is a higher incidence of boys diagnosed more so than girls.  (continue reading. . . )
