Houston City Council Member Dave Martin Schedules
Fall Town Hall Meeting for Southeast Houston and Clear Lake Residents

Houston, TX - Houston City Council Member Dave Martin will host a town hall meeting on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Destiny Theater at Space Center Houston located at 1601 NASA Parkway. The community is invited to attend to hear from city and community representatives about ongoing projects, issues and community news related to the Southeast Houston and Clear Lake areas of District E.

 

 "It is a privilege to be able to host these town hall meetings every year," says Council Member Martin. "I look forward to being able to provide updates to the community as well as to meet the residents and hear their questions and concerns. There are many important issues affecting our city today and these meetings are a wonderful opportunity to get the public involved."

 

Representatives from the City of Houston's Public Works and Engineering Department, Solid Waste Management Department, Houston Police Department, Parks and Recreation Department and Houston Airport System will present project updates for the area.   

 

Council Member Martin has also invited back Collin Pier with Trendmaker Homes to present the company's progress on the new residential community located at Clear Lake City Boulevard and El Dorado Boulevard known as The Reserve at Clear Lake City. Also scheduled to present is Brian Bacik with General Growth Partners who is overseeing the current expansion of Baybrook Mall. The expansion is scheduled to be completed by the 2015 holiday season with many new exciting shopping options available to patrons.
