On Fairfax County Public Schools' Teacher Work days and school breaks, 5th-9th graders can join the Old Firehouse Teen Center on fun-filled trips! These trips depart from and return to the Old Firehouse located at 1440 Chain Bridge Road. Participants must bring clothes appropriate for the day's activity. A signed OFTC Participant Contract is required. Some trips also require a signed waiver. Forms are available online or on site. Please submit forms before the day of the trip.
NO-Bake Pumpkin Pie
Here's an easy Fall tasty treat for the whole family to enjoy!
 
Pumpkin Pie Filling
15 oz. can pumpkin puree
5 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
Pinch of cloves
2 tbsp. heavy cream

Cream Cheese Mousse
3 egg whites
1/2 cup sugar
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 tsp. vanilla
2 cups mini marshmallows

Cookie Layer
1 1/2 cups chopped gingersnaps and graham crackers (I used 4 graham crackers, 8 small gingersnaps)

Kids, ages 3-15, sign up now to sell your old toys, games and other items. Your registration fee includes the use of an 8 ft. x 3 ft. table within a 7 ft. x 8 ft. booth space. The sale will be advertised in The Washington Post's classifieds. We will have a donation truck on hand after the event to take any unsold items to a donation center.
