WELCOME BACK! Summer went by quickly and our campers had a blast during summer camp! We have an exciting year planned with new adventures and new ideas, so be sure to join us.
 
 
OFTC  memberships are available for rising 7th - 9th graders.  For the Freshman, this is a great opportunity to be role models and provide leadership for our younger 7th & 8th grade members.  

We look forward to a fun-filled 2015-2016 school year! We can't wait to see you!

Drop by the Old Firehouse Teen Center for a tour of our facility and to complete your membership.

We are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can also look us up online. Please complete a
Participant Contract and return it to OFTC with the Registration Form and your payment. $200/$175 McLean district residents.

 Harvest Happenings 
 Saturday, Sept. 26, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

$5 per person/Free for children 36 months and younger
General Admission (cash at the gate)

For children ages 3-8. A fun and exciting day for your whole family is right in your backyard! Come to this indoor-outdoor festival and enjoy live entertainment, crafts and games. All activities are included in the entrance fee with the exception of the purchase of pumpkins for $3 and food concessions.

Community Garage Sale &
Disposal Event

Saturday, Sept. 12, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Come shop more than 50 vendors! Vendor spaces are available to residents on a first-come, first-served basis. The application deadline iWednesday, Sept. 9.

During the garage sale we'll be helping you get rid of all that old household hazardous waste, with help from a professional disposal  Business or commercial waste, lead acid & automobile batteries and propane will not be accepted.

Clubs are drop-in programs and members are welcome to participate in any activity they choose.  The OFTC offers club activities Monday through Thursday.

McLean 5K Run with the Warriors

Saturday, October 3
at 8 a.m.

Register by Sept. 20 and receive a free Under Armour Commemorative Technical Race shirt.
  
Run/Walk with wounded warriors, military personnel and community members in support of those who have so honorably served.
 
All proceeds from the McLean 5K Run with the Warriors will be used for the Wounded Warrior Transitional Housing at Vinson Hall.

A DJ keeps the fun alive with great music while the game room is open for ping-pong, pool and other arcade games. Our events are supervised by OFTC staff. OFTC follows the Fairfax County Public Schools dress code.

Enjoy an evening at the cinema with the Old Firehouse Teen Center as we head to Tysons Corner AMC for two movies. Participants should bring money to purchase dinner at the food court.
  

Old Firehouse Facility Rentals 

Have your next party or event at the newly remodeled Old Firehouse with access to our huge dance floor, game room and kitchenette. 

Reservations are accepted six months in advance, on a first-come, first-served basis. Facility rentals have a three-hour minimum. For details, forms and rates, go to OFTC Rental Information or call the Teen Center at

C.E.R.T (Community Emergency Response Team) 
Tuesdays, Sept. 22- Nov. 3, 7-10:30 p.m.

C.E.R.T. is about readiness, people helping people, rescuer, safety, and CERT mantra: Do the greatest good for the greatest number. C.E.R.T. is a positive and realistic approach to emergency situations where citizens initially will be on their own and their actions can make a difference.
  
UnRuly Theatre Project Auditions

  • Improv comedy, comedic one-acts
  • Performances throughout the season @various D.C. metro venues
  • Actors are paid per performance
Audition Description: Seeking trained teen actors, ages 
14-18 for the 2015-16 teen resident company, The UnRuly Theatre Project. Actors are paid per performance and are hired on a contract basis. Dedicated performers only, please!
