Fall Guide Released
The Bishop McCort Athletic Department is proud to announce the publication of the 2013 Fall Media Guide. The guide contains rosters, schedules, records, tributes and additional features. The books will be available for purchase in the main office at school and at the football game tonight.

The Bishop McCort Monogram Club is an all-inclusive booster organization for alumni, parents, and fans to support Crusher Athletics. The Monogram Club is an expansion of the 12th Man Club that was created in 1983. This organization allows alumni, parents, and fans to support all Bishop McCort High School athletic programs. Donations to the Monogram Club may be restricted to a specific sport, capital improvement project, or donated to the general fund. Join the Monogram Club today and support our student athletes as they continue the great McCort tradition!

At the beginning of each school year, the Bishop McCort Athletic Department releases an official Crusher Pride logo. The logo becomes the theme of the Crimson Crazies and appears on spirit items throughout the year. This year's theme focuses on the slogan, "Crusher Pr1de Rolls On" and brings back the school's vintage steam roller logo.

McCort Instagram
Bishop McCort has recently launched an Instagram account. The social media application enables the school to display the latest happenings in pictures and videos. The Crusher Instagram feed already has over one hundred followers and continues to grow each day. For a whole new way to view and share #crusherpride, check out the new Instagram feed.

Video Highlights

The 2013 Bishop McCort Catholic High School
Homecoming Court Will be crowned during halftime ceremonies on SATURDAY OCTOBER 5th. The Homecoming Football game will feature the Bishop McCort Crushers hosting the Westmont Hilltoppers at the Point Stadium. KICK-OFF is set for 7:00 p.m.

Theme Days
BMCHS celebrated homecoming week with different theme days throughout the week. From skittles and mismatch days to duplicate and character days, the Crusher students went all out! Click here for pictures from the festivities.

You're Invited! - Homecoming Tailgate
Please join us before the football game for a tailgate with the 2013-2014 McCort homecoming court beginning at 5:30 pm in the Suppes lot. Food will be provided and the Crusher marching band will provide entertainment.

CRUSHER ATHLETIC HEADLINES

Boys Soccer (7-7)
This week was full of ups and downs for the Boys Soccer Team. The boys began the week with a 4-2 loss to Belleville Mennonite at the Point Stadium. The Crusher goals were scored by Alex Conahan and Steve Ingram. Following the loss to Belleville, the team traveled to Cambria Heights and earned a 2-1 victory. The Crusher offense was powered by goals from Alex Conahan and Conner Hagins. The week ended last night with a loss to Somerset, 1-0.
Next Game: The team will travel to Richland on Monday night to take on the Rams (JV 6:30 pm / Varsity 8:00 pm)
Note: Senior night will take place on Thursday when the Crushers host the Trojans at the Point Stadium. The game is set to begin at 7:00 pm.
Season leaders: Spinelli (1 shutout), Mastovich (9 goals), Ingram (9 goals), Conahan (6 goals), Hagins (5 goals)

Girls Soccer (4-6-2)
The Girls Soccer Team fell to 4-6-2 after losing to Altoona and Somerset. Kelly Ingram had a goal against Altoona and Jylian Popovich scored against Somerset.
Next Game: The girls will celebrate senior night on Monday at the Point Stadium against Richland (JV 6:00 / Varsity 7:30)
Season Leaders: Barbin (1 shutout), Thomas (8 goals), Popovich (8 goals), Regula (6 goals)

Boys (7-3) & Girls (5-4) XC Both the Boys and Girls Cross Country teams traveled to Forest Hills on Monday to compete in a make-up meet on Monday. The boys team advanced to 7-3 on the season after defeating Forest Hills and Meyersdale. The girls fell to 5-4 on the season after losing to Forest Hills. *Missing results from the meet at Central Cambria on Wednesday Note: Dan Mihalko earned 1st place at Forest Hills. Next Meet: Both teams will travel to Penn Cambria on Wednesday to compete against Penn Cambria and Bishop Carroll.

Volleyball (4-6)
The Girls Volleyball Team had another exciting week with victories over Bedford and Central Cambria. The girls improved their overall record to 4-6 and are currently on a four-game winning streak.
Note: Hannah Pastorek had a career-high 16 kills in the victory over Central Cambria last night.
Senior night will take place on Thursday as the Lady Crushers host the Lady Rams (JV 6:00 pm / Varsity 7:30 pm).
Next Match: The team will look to keep its winning streak alive on Monday as it hosts Cambria Heights (JV 6:00 pm / Varsity 7:30 pm).

The Golf Team placed second at the Laurel Highlands Conference Championships.
