RAINMAKER AT LARGE
RAINMAKER as last seen off the coast of Georgia

Nearly four months after GUNBOAT 5501 was
abandoned off the coast of North Carolina, RAINMAKER remains afloat and tending to herself in nearly the same location she was left. Last spotted by a passing mariner 200 miles off the coast of Savannah, the sleek silver hull has withstood everything the severe winter weather dished out. Help us find her, and we'll be happy to make RAINMAKER your perfect fixer-upper. After a full review of design and safety parameters, production on the award winning 55 Series continues to roll. For further details on the incident, including remarks from Peter Johnstone, check out Yachting World's recent update
G4 FLIES
G401 TIMBALERO III rips around the course at Les Voiles

After a year of anticipation, the world's first foiling cruising catamaran premiered in St. Maarten in April. The GUNBOAT G4 took the world by storm,  garnering attention from sailing enthusiasts near and far. TIMBALERO III made her racing debut at Les Voiles and went viral when she found the edge on the last downwind reach of the regatta. The spectacular capsize, admittedly a "stupid mistake" by Gunboat's Peter Johnstone, solidified the flying cat's adrenaline factor and further proved its ultimate ruggedness and reliability.

Less than a week after the capsize, the G4 was back in action at Antigua Sailing Week. America's Cup winner and Antigua native Shannon Falcone joined the TIMBALERO crew for the event, lending his AC foiling experience and local knowledge. Shannon jumped on the opportunity to be involved with the world's first foiling cruiser and introduce foiling technology to the local youth sailors through his LIFT Project. An incredible week of sailing resulted in Owner Eduardo Perez's team scoring bullets in all but one race and taking top honors in the Multihull class.

With an exciting first season complete, the G4 will shortly set sail for North Carolina for a little Gunboat love. The one-design class rules for this milestone series are underway and construction on hull number two has begun. Pricing and details are available upon request. TOCCATA'S FAST PACED CARIBBEAN SEASON

The breathtaking GUNBOAT 55, TOCCATA, has just completed her first Caribbean season. The third of the 55 Series, TOCCATA is living up to her moniker. Derived from the Italian word toccare meaning "to touch", toccata is defined as "a piece of music featuring fast-moving, lightly fingered or otherwise virtuosic passages." The ambitious owners took on a symphonic season, which included three world class regattas, St. Maarten Heineken, Les Voiles de St. Barth, and Antigua Sailing Week, eleven unique islands visited in between, and a flurry of media activity including a boat test/photo/video shoot with Yachting World's Toby Hodges. TOCCATA's exceptional owners accomplished all of this with minimal help from professional crew, amassing a priceless collection of memories, stories, friends, and trophies along the way. While we get a bit winded just talking about her whirlwind season, TOCCATA never missed a beat.

2015 BLOCK ISLAND RACE
FAULT TOLERANT enjoys an evening sail in Newport last fall

After a thrilling performance at Heineken, the original GUNBOAT, TRIBE, sailed North to Miami to lend support to her family's Optimist sailors. She'll return to the racecourse this weekend at Storm Trysail Club's 70th annual
Block Island Race. The recently turbo-charged regatta veteran will line up against the sleek and powerful GUNBOAT 60, FAULT TOLERANT, whose race strategy includes a crew made up of family and friends, good food, and fine wine. While New England can still be a bit cold this time of year, we're confident both boats' crews will enjoy navigating the course from the comfort of their cozy salons. For scratch sheets, race results, and more, visit the regatta's Yacht Scoring Site.
