Women's Land Rights Visiting Professionals Program

The Landesa Center for Women's Land Rights is now accepting applications for the Women's Land Rights Visiting Professionals Program. The program, now in its fourth year, cultivates a network of professionals from India, China, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda who are committed to strengthening women's land rights.

Join Us for Landesa's Seed the Change Event on March 13

Our 9th annual Seed the Change luncheon will celebrate Landesa founder Roy Prosterman's 80th birthday and highlight Landesa's continued focus on strengthening women's land rights. 

The keynote speaker will be the Honorable Norm Dicks (WA-6th District, 1977-2013), who is also a former student of Prosterman's. The program will feature insights into Landesa's impact in the field and a special video honoring Prosterman's legacy and his life's work.


Landesa Receives Eleanor Roosevelt Award for Human Rights

The Greater Seattle Chapter of the United Nations Association awarded Landesa the Eleanor Roosevelt Award for Human Rights. Landesa founder Roy Prosterman accepted the award on behalf of the organization at a ceremony in Seattle's Town Hall.
