Brazos Lowers DSL Prices, 
Unveils 3 New Speeds
If you're looking for ways to save money on High Speed Internet without sacrificing speed, it's time to call Brazos Internet.
Realizing customer demand for faster Internet is on the rise, Brazos launched three new speeds this summer. New pricing started July 1, 2013 and is saving customers on average 14 to 25% from old DSL pricing. Customers who bundle their services can realize discounts of up to 48% on high speed Internet.
New speeds and pricing range from $29.95/mo for 1.5MB/1.0MB to 50.0MB/5.0MB for $209.95/mo. Our new 10.0MB/2.0MB speed will give families with multiple devices that stream movies and play online games a better choice, especially if they are experiencing bandwidth saturation. (See table below for a complete list of pricing and speeds.)

All DSL products include free installation, no contract, 3 email addresses, toll free technical support, and no data caps. A modem purchase of $35.00/$50.00 is required. Static IP Addresses are $10.00/mo. If additional IP addresses are requested, charges will apply. Please note the technology of DSL has limited distance.  Tips to Protect Your Identity Online Most of us hope Identity Theft won't find us.....however, if you have ever experienced it you are all too familiar with the pain, panic, and havoc it can cause. Here are a few tips we would like to share with you that may help you protect your identity online. - Create strong passwords - Make them long, include special characters, change them often, and don't use the same password for multiple accounts.
- Protect your smartphone - Don't keep any personal information on your phone, especially if you do not have it password locked. If you lose your smartphone and there is no password on it, anyone can access your personal information.
- Know what information you share - Manage your social media account's privacy settings. People with public profiles provide too much personal information about themselves.....i.e.,birthdate, high school attended, phone numbers etc., which leads to increased vulnerability.
Did you know.....The rise of social media and personal technology has led to increased vulnerability of your personal information? It is the consumer's job to stay aware and take preventative action. Know what personal information you are sharing and manage your account's privacy settings. It is recommended that you monitor your credit and sign up for Identity Theft Protection Services. Many local banks now offer some type of credit/Identity Theft Protection service.
