What to Do When Life Gets Crazy!
|
We all have these times in life when things get a little out-of-control. These are usually events that seem to come out of nowhere or simply tip the balance of an already stressful time. It could be an illness, a shift in a relationship, an accident or a change at work.
I've been having one of those times in the past year. It's been interesting to put all of my intuition and personal growth practices into play to stay as centered as possible. Many of the things that have been happening are good things - I wrote and published two books (Divine Intuition and The Complete Idiot's Guide to Psychic Intuition.) My husband and I talked about downsizing and began recycling 20+ years of stuff that we had accumulated. I travelled and worked in Japan during the month of November. However, even good things can also be stressful! Added to this, my elderly parents have been in and out of the hospital and we finally made the decision to put my mom in hospice.One of my favorite intuition techniques is to place my hand over my heart and simply ask, "What am I yearning for?" The answer popped into my mind immediately. It was peace, calm, fun and adventure. We have now sold our house. We're moving in May to Cape Cod (the southeastern coast of Massachusetts. I'm feeling very excited about having fun, creating adventures and meeting new people. The Cape is a place of quiet nature, known for miles of bike and walking trails through conservation land. I'm also adding a small meditation space to my new digs!
