I don't know about you, but I've had a crazy past few months. I spent two glorious weeks teaching and seeing clients in Japan which is always fun, but stressful. When I got back to the States my husband and I began the process of down-sizing our home in preparation for a move to a condo in the Spring. Last month, my website was hacked, my car battery died, our furnace needed a new part and left us without heat for two days at the same time as the hot water heater began giving out only cold water. Also, have you ever noticed the the word, "stressed" spelled backwards is "desserts?" Well, I gained five pounds since September. Oh, and I've been preparing for a major book launch of Divine Intuition.

On New Years morning, I was having my customary prayer/chat time with God. All that I could think to say was, "God, I welcome your peace..." I immediately felt embraced by love and heard the words, "Lynn, take a slow day."

It occurred to me that as a child, I loved to wake up after a huge snow storm and have my mom report, "It's a SNOW day," meaning there was no school. However, a "slow day" was an interesting concept! I realized that I had been rushing, hurrying, racing to get everything done. I know better. <Sheepish grin.> Hey, I write about this stuff for a living!
